A network engineer designs and develops both the physical and wireless networks, whereas a network administrator is responsible for maintaining the network once it is developed. Ability to conduct research into a wide range of computing issues as required. Must have excellent customer service skills and thrive in a team environment. Serve as escalation point for the clients to ensure high quality deliverables, solutions and client management on projects. Solid understanding of network protocols, firewalls, routers, switching, TCP/IP, and RF coverage.
